Legal guarantee of conformity (24 months)

In accordance with current legislation, any scooter purchased on our site is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for a period of 24 months from the date of delivery , in application of articles L.217-3 to L.217-20 of the Consumer Code . This guarantee protects you against any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the product, in particular if the good does not correspond to the description provided, does not work as expected or is not suitable for the use usually expected.

It also covers hidden defects of origin , such as manufacturing or design faults , which would prevent normal use of the product.

On the other hand, damage linked to misuse , normal wear and tear, shocks, falls, oxidation or lack of maintenance are not covered by this guarantee.

In the event of proven non-conformity, you are entitled to the repair or replacement of the product free of charge , or, if this is not possible, to a partial or total refund . No fees may be charged to the customer under this guarantee. This guarantee applies independently of any commercial guarantee that may be offered.

Please retain your proof of purchase (Order Confirmation Email and Invoice) for reference when making warranty claims and keep the packaging carton intact.

Consumable items are not included in your warranty (inner tube, pads, grip, etc.).

iScooter-France commercial warranty (12 months)

In addition to the legal guarantees in force, iScooter-France offers its customers a commercial guarantee lasting 12 months from the date of delivery of the product.

This warranty covers technical defects affecting the proper functioning of the scooter, under normal conditions of use. It allows for the free repair or replacement of defective parts, excluding labor and transport costs that may be applicable, depending on the case and after technical diagnosis.

Once the fault has been identified and located, the preferred method is to send replacement parts. If the problem is more serious, a return to the workshop is arranged for repair and reshipment.

Warranty period for wear parts: (exclusion)

• Battery : 6-month warranty in case of failure, charging problem or low battery life under normal conditions of use.

• Engine : 6-month warranty against failure under normal use.

• Controller : 6 month warranty against failure under normal use.

• Charger : 6 month warranty.

• Tires : 3 months for cracks and deformations of hard (honeycomb) tires under normal use. Tube tires are not covered by the warranty.

• Brakes, brake handles, brake cables : 3-month warranty under normal use.

• Accelerator : 3 month warranty under normal use.

• Buzzer : 6 months warranty under normal use.

• Electronic lock : 3-month warranty under normal use.

• Steering column : 3 month warranty under normal use.

• Lights (front, rear, brake) : 3-month warranty under normal use.

Parts not listed above are not covered by this warranty.

Shipping of spare parts and return to the workshop:

• For the first three months: at no cost to the customer.

• From the third month: only shipping costs will be charged to the customer.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

• Repair of consumable items not covered by warranty.

• Parts showing signs of misuse or handling contrary to manual instructions, including improper use, improper maintenance or storage, or damage due to an accident.

• Repairs required following an accident or intentional damage.

• Repairs related to normal wear and tear, surface or cosmetic damage.

• Absence of original proof of purchase validating the warranty period (Iscooter-France.com order number).

• Opening, disassembling or modifying the scooter with unauthorized or non-original parts, or without prior authorization, which invalidates the warranty.

• Water infiltration into the casing or any other part of the scooter.

This commercial guarantee applies in addition to the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by articles L.217-3 to L.217-20 of the Consumer Code , valid for 24 months and covering any lack of conformity or hidden defect present at the time of delivery. It does not limit in any way the rights you benefit from under the law.
